Scammell & Associates Organization Development Consulting has been based in Halifax, Nova Scotia since its inception in 1990. Our mission is to improve organization performance through the development and alignment of people and processes. Our core services include needs assessment, customized training, group process design and facilitation, change management, performance management, and Lean-Six-Sigma business process improvement.

Angela Scammell (B.Sc., M. Adult Ed, CHRP, Six Sigma Black Belt), has 28 years’ experience designing and facilitating organization development and training in private, public, consulting, and academic organizations.She has led the Organization Development and Training functions in both a national airline and a provincial government.She has been a Principal Instructor in the nationally recognized Saint Francis Xavier University Diploma in Adult Education (Training for the Trainer) Program since 1991.

As a General Electric-trained Lean-Six-Sigma Black Belt, she has significant project management experience and a suite of skills in business process improvement, total quality management, qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.She is a certified project Change Acceleration Process (CAP) coach, a certified facilitator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (Steps I and II), and is certified to facilitate the Achieve Global suite of workshops.
As a facilitator, Angela is known for her ability to connect with people, thought-provoking discussions, her practical insights, keeping agendas relevant and focused, and for her good humour and positive energy.
